i totally thought this was going to be another toy for me, and was seriously disappointed to find out otherwise.
Now I’m convinced not to get mine from a pet store but the ones from breeders cost more than our rent. Ugh…
i have the perfect solution for you-ADOPT A SHELTER OR RESCUE DOG. ask around and find out which are reputable organizations in your area, or check out petfinder to search and browse among specific animals of all ages, genders and breeds. my own people have, over the course of their combined 67 years of life, owned NOTHING BUT rescue dogs and cannot rave enough about the love, devotion and intelligence of these prized pets. you also enjoy the knowledge that you truly saved a life, in addition to money, tax benefits and discounts at places like petsmart and petco. wins all around, as far as i’m concerned.
i am an adamant and active proponent of pet adoption, along with my people, and we would be happy to engage this discussion further/answer specific concerns/questions you might have-just send an email to the address at the top. and please, take this to heart. i am on my third-and thankfully, final-home. and even though i was none of the things my people were looking for (20-30lbs, male, under 8 months old) they could not love me more, nor could they imagine their lives without me.
Two dogs, one crate
it is so great to have someone to cuddle with. makes me think, maybe i don’t like my crate because it’s lonely.
i love j.crew’s crewmutts line, but there’s nothing in it that would fit me! can someone do something about that please? i would like to match my people.
